PARTNERSHIP “BOOK CLUB” PDF Print E-mail
The Partnership Ministry, in conjunction with the FPC Christian Education Department, will be sponsoring a series of upcoming discussions in the Fall and Spring. The Autumn theme is “Immigration & Refugees in the West”. Look for more details later, but plan now on taking the following books with you for your summer reading so we can prepare for some though-provoking discussions: The House at Sugar Beach by Helene Cooper (Thursday, September 30) and Little Bee by Chris Cleave (Thursday, October 21).

PARTNERSHIP JAMAICA MISSION TRIP JULY 22 – AUGUST 1 PDF Print E-mail
We wish the participants “safe travel and good works” as they take their 7th trip to Jamaica. We will continue our connection with the Mount Olivet Boys Home in Mandeville, but this year most of our time will be spent working in a summer Bible Camp that is sponsored by the Theodora Project in Negril. There will be 12 participants on this trip – 6 each from Hillside and First. Many thanks to all who have supported our Mission trips!

HILLSIDE SCHOLARSHIP FUND PDF Print E-mail
Hillside has a scholarship/education fund which has helped some of our college students in the past. To access this fund, students will need to have at least a 2.3 (out of 4.0) grade point average, complete a scholarship/education fund application, provide proof of receiving a high school diploma, and proof of acceptance in a college or job training certification program. Please make donations in the envelopes found in the pews and indicate “Education Fund”.
